How the Price Works
First mini-split — $199
Includes its outdoor compressor. This one carries the drive out and the setup: electronics masked, bib bag hung, wash gear and buckets laid out. That work happens once per visit.
Each one after — $119
By the second unit we are already set up, so you are only paying for the cleaning. It is why a house with three mini-splits costs far less per unit than a house with one.
Extra compressors — $69
The first is included in the $199. Bigger houses often have a second outdoor unit; each additional one is cleared and coil-rinsed for $69.
How to Count
Mini-splits
Every indoor unit: the wall-mounted one in the bedroom, the ceiling cassette in the office, the floor console in the sunroom, the ducted air handler in the attic. If it blows air into a room, it is a mini-split.
Compressors
Every outdoor box. A single-zone system has one mini-split and one compressor. A multi-zone system has several mini-splits running off one compressor. Big houses often have two.
Common Questions
Is this number the actual price?
Yes. The only thing that changes it is the count. If we find a mini-split or compressor you did not mention, it is added at the same $119 or $69, and we say so before touching it.
Why does the first one cost more?
Because the drive and the setup happen once, on the first unit. Charging for them there and nothing after is the honest way to do it. A flat per-unit rate would quietly overcharge the four-mini-split house to subsidize the one-mini-split house.
Why doesn’t a moldy mini-split cost more?
Because it shouldn’t. It takes us longer, and that is our problem, not yours. Condition never changes the number.
Is there a minimum?
$199, which is exactly what one mini-split and its compressor costs. There is nothing smaller to buy.
