Lakes Region Mini-Split Cleaning is a mini-split cleaning service serving the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. We do full teardown-in-place deep cleaning of ductless indoor mini-splits, mold and odor removal, spring and fall maintenance, and multi-unit service for short-term rentals, seasonal camps, condo associations, offices and restaurants. We publish our per-mini-split prices, we quote before any cover comes off, and we do not install, repair or sell equipment.
Why Only CleaningThe Job Nobody Else Wants to Do Well
Mini-splits took over New Hampshire heating and cooling in a hurry. Between NHSaves and NH Electric Co-op rebates and the price of oil, tens of thousands of wall-mounted mini-splits went up across the Lakes Region in a few years — and almost none of them have been opened since. Installers are busy installing. HVAC companies sell a “tune-up” that rinses the filter, checks the charge and leaves. The blower wheel, the back of the coil and the drain pan — the parts that actually smell and actually choke the airflow — stay dirty, because doing them right takes an hour a mini-split, a bib bag, the right cleaner and someone who is not in a hurry to get to the next install.
So that is the whole business. We open the mini-split, bag it, flush the coil and the wheel until the water runs clear, clear the drain, sanitize, reassemble and run it. Then we show you the bucket.
How We Work
- You know the price before you call. $199 for the first mini-split, $119 for each one after. The number we quote is the number on the invoice.
- Quoted before the cover comes off. If a mini-split is loaded with soot, grease or mold, you hear the price before the work, not after.
- Nothing on your wall. Electronics masked, bib bag hung, low pressure only. No pressure washers, no bleach, no aerosol coil cleaner.
- Honest scope. If what we find is a refrigerant leak, a failed board or a bad install, we say so and point you to a licensed HVAC contractor. We do not sell repairs, so we have no reason to find them.
- Records. Every mini-split gets a simple service note — what we found, what we did, when it is due next.
What We Don’t Do
Install or replace
New systems, added mini-splits, relocations — a licensed installer’s work. We are happy to clean what they put in.
Refrigerant or electrical
Charging, leak repair, boards, motors, sensors. Regulated work that needs an EPA-certified HVAC technician.
Ductwork
Whole-house duct cleaning is a different trade with different equipment. We clean ducted mini-split air handlers, not the ducts.
